YES 2008 is focusing on a very important topic – Migration into and within Europe. As young Europeans and future decision-makers you probably have great interest in this particular theme. In order to explore this topic further, a variety of workshops will be offered to you during the YES 2008.This year we will offer three types of workshops – “mind”, “body” and the “Migration Experience”. All students will have to attend the mandatory “Migration Experience”. Mind Workshops"Mind” workshops focus on the topic of Migration directly. Various interesting workshop leaders can themselves decide what kind of a subject they want to tackle in the workshop.
Body Workshops“Body” workshops might or might not focus on the general topic of The Migration ExperienceA journey that will go through some of the difficulties that occurs during migration. This will give all an equal opportunity to experience migration personally, encounter problems immigrants might come across, and understand the life of different immigrant groups. The YES! MagThe YES! Mag workshop will write The YES! Mag – our traditional YES magazine.
